I've found that when you're playing against bots, you tend to get more opponents than you intended.

You always get the same number of each bot; i.e. 2 copies of each or 3 copies of each.

From match to match, the multiplier can increase of stay the same, but never decrease unless you quit & restart the game.  

I.e. if you're playing with asian & cyrus, and it gives you 2 of each in this match, then next match will either be 2 of each or 3 of each.
