Description Mark Watts 2004-02-13 16:22:28 EST
GeForce FX5600 using nVidia.com drivers in X 4.3 on Mandrake 9.2.
When switching back to X, the 60Hz refresh rate used by the game is retained
instead of switching back to the normal 85Hz one.

AFAIK, this is a problem between SDL and XFree. The game should not be using a
60Hz refresh rate. Using SDL 1.2.6 should fix it. Can this one get in before the
game goes gold?
Comment 2 Matthew Arnold 2004-02-13 22:31:41 EST
By the by, a temporary work-around is to install SDL 1.2.6 and move
libSDL-1.2.so.0 out of the ut2004demo/System directory.
