Description Mark Dvoo 2002-12-09 12:57:17 EST
something weird happened on the metropolis city board. I was too close to one
of the buildings and went through it. I have it saved and am attaching the save
game. I can still move around and shoot things, but everything is messed up.

I may have experienced this bug close to the beginning of training. If I
reproduce it, I will record it (I had just started playing and wasn't aware that
I could record it. The screen seperates into two parts, and sometimes I can
manage to "jump out of it" for a bit, but all I have to do is look around/move
and the strange and messy split starts again. This happened to me after killing
the first one eyed monster (sorry, can't remember name) and getting caught in
the door (though not stuck).

This is a known bug, but I haven't been able to track it down yet. The problem
appears to be that you are, litterally, falling through the floor. If you are in
single player, pull down the console and type "please fly" and pull yourselves
back out (and "please fly" again to turn off flying). Jumping alone doesn't fix
this.

In network mode, you're pretty much screwed and will have to restart the server.

I have found that in network game, simply save, and load it, and you should be
back in business :)
