I have an MX510 optical mouse with 10 (!) buttons. The following patch enables
the use of the extra 3 buttons that the code can't currently handle. Use of all
the buttons probably also requires changes to the X config, but here is what
lets quake3 use them.

I am not sure whether your patch could break mods. I've applied this one instead. It maps extra mouse buttons to K_AUX*
