Description SoRDiD 2005-10-26 11:53:41 EDT
i am on amd64 gentoo linux with 2.6.13 kernel, and have compiled a 64bit binary.
im using nvidia driver 7676 with geforce 6600gt.

i have updated ioQ3 from (i think it was) 162 to 178 today and since then many images are stuck in the top left edge of the screen, most of the hud, the mouse-cursor-crosshair etc.
the only 2 3d-objects that are drawn are the head and the ammo box in my hud. the whole 3d-world is not displayed.
everything worked in 162 !

i try to get a version between 162 and 178 to shorten the search for this bug.

the version 177 from portage (package manager on gentoo) shows the same symptoms as the 178 that i got by svn.

i had some misguided symlinks, and after a compile orgy i found out that i was running the gentoo-177 all the time...

in the compilation of the gentoo-117 i get warnings like:
../game/g_syscalls.c: In function `PASSFLOAT':
../game/g_syscalls.c:41: warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules
but i think thats not your problem....

Setting a QA contact on all ioquake3 bugs, even resolved ones. Sorry if you get a flood of email from this, it should only happen once. Apologies for the incovenience.
