Description Tony J. White 2007-03-29 12:33:37 EDT
If downloading is done with cURL and the server redirects to a .pk3 that does not match the checksum of the file with the same name on the server, then the client just keeps redownloading the same file over and over.

This isn't a huge issue since the file name is tied to the checksum so it's not going to fill up the hard drive or anything, but it is confusing.

There should be some check that the file downloaded with cURL has the checksum we are expecting so a descriptive error can be generated.

Setting a QA contact on all ioquake3 bugs, even resolved ones. Sorry if you get a flood of email from this, it should only happen once. Apologies for the incovenience.
