Li and his twin brother Li
Found multiple Li's. He appears twice in his cave in the Vail and again in Naija's home. Only one Li can follow and there are no obvious issues(but it might break sth later on?) -the other one just wont interact. This happened in beta2 after loading the savegames from beta1. I'll check it happens when starting from scratch in b2.

Does Li inside Naija home have diving helmet on?
Could you upload savefile?

I have seen screenshot. Can you try to grab diving helmet with bind song?
I cant grab the helmet once I have one li following me. The other becomes non interactive, you can however pick either one to begin with -the helmet always appear at the back of the cave(or floor under the red crystal back in the home cave). I'll add the savefile in the next comment.

This is right next to Li just before the first encounter.
Steps to reproduce:
1 -chase him to the back of the cave
2 -bind helmet/watch cutscene
3 -put the helmet back on/leave cave
4 -return back and there you go!
Confirmed bug on Windows, too.
Apparently Bit-Blot never expected you to go all the way to the back of the cave when coming to reclaim Li.
(or, perhaps, to never leave him behind at all, as there's no real benefit to doing so.)
Anyhow: no fix planned. It won't hurt your ability to progress.
