Description Clay Barnes 2005-08-09 02:45:09 EDT
The move window (not resize) to next E/W/N/S edge commands usually (but not
always) disregard the edges of other programs and leap directly to the edge of
the screen. The times the move stops at other windows is frequently when a
corner of the two is aligned.

I am not sure which behaviour is expected for the windows, though adding the
ability to count other windows as edges would be a nice enhancement if it is not
the intent of the current implementation.

not quite sure what you mean here. (when i read your mail i thought you said
grow to edge, not jump to edge but you didn't). How can a corner of two windows
be aligned without the edge being aligned too?

Well, you still haven't explained what you mean and i still don't understand. When moving a window with movetoedge*, they correctly stop at all opposing client edges in their path. An edge facing the same way won't have any effect.

Sorry about this bug report. Redundant entries in my rc.xml file were the source of this behaviour.

Obviously this bug never existed!
