Step to reproduce (under Suse 10.2):
- Run the openbox under vnc:
   * Go to ~/.vnc
   * Modify the xstartup file to use openbox (exec openbox)
   * Run the vncserver
   * Connect to vncserver using vncviewer
- Change the time backward (e.g. from 15:00 to 14:00)
- Result: the mouse and keyboard will stop responding

To change the time backward, we use Yast > System > Date and Time
