Be aware of that terminal emulators are just an example of an application.

I would like to see openbox be able to have more window placement features, openbox should be able to automatically place new windows on the screen where theres no windows allready opened if possible, great if you have like you have like a lot of terminal emulators open when you don't like tabs, and you are coding something.

You can just hit an button defined for opening your favourite terminal emulator and it will not overlap any of the existing terminal emulators that are allready opened, which I find EXTREMELY annoying.
This feature should also be able to turn of on certain windows, defined by XxY in pixels on which windows this placement system will ignore, like web browsers, image viewers etc, and they can overlap the windows etc.

And including the other feature already mentioned, it should also be possible to define a certain space in pixels between the windows, one definition for the space between the windows and the edge of the screen, and definition for the space between the windows when they are opened, it should also be possible to make individual definitions for each corner of the screen to.

If want the existing terminal emulators to be organized, I could just hit a button on my keyboard etc, and the windows would be organized automatically.
The "ignore certain apps" feature should also be able to turn off on this feature to.

Openbox today places windows on the desktop where theres space, but very random ly, which makes it very easy to overlap windows without the user taking action, which I find totally uneccesary.
This feature should also be able to turn of on certain windows, defined by XxY
