Using mojosetup as the installer in Spring and Prey, both installs fail with the following error:
NOTICE: Initial Lua setup failed. Cannot continue.
[hit enter]

I have set permissions in both installers to 777 (r.w.x) but they fail with the above error. The versions are the following:

prey-demo-installer-10232008.bin
spring-installer_77b5_10-22-2008_i386.run

If I run the installers as root, they both work fine. My OS is Slackware 12
Linux version 2.6.21.5-smp (root@midas) (gcc version 4.1.2) #2 SMP Tue Jun 19 14:58:11 CDT 2007
