When you join a server and join a team, it seems that cg_wwToggle is not read and defaults to the normal off state. I have gotten the server to read cg_wwToggle by calling userinfochanged with some userinfocvars(sex, cg_wwToggle, etc...). Thanks

Known and fixed in svn. Use whichever work around, as you suggest, or build a client from gpp branch. Leaving open for now to prevent duplicate reports.
