Using ioquake SVN 2080, after loading mod excessive plus 2.2a, try to connect to a server and you will be kicked back to the main menu with the error:

Restricted source try to remove system command "echo"


I will provide a stupid patch to prevent the "kick back to the main menu".
If you wanna know the detail just download the patch and read it, because is auto-explanatory (and it's only 10 rows).
