the gameplay as I see it
So I installed the game using the binary I downloaded from humble bundle 4, then I try to run it with both the Shank shell script in the main dir or the Shank binary in the bin/ dir. In both cases - menus work as expected, but when I try to play a game the gameplay doesn't show up, only the info bar above and the text "Customize your controls in the help menu" - the rest is black. When I press Ctrl, Shift, Space etc I hear some noises but see nothing.
Also at all times the sound is choppy and with ~2 seconds delay.
My system is:
Arch Linux with Gnome 3, i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz, 4GB RAM, integrated Intel video.
Frozen synapse for example works flawlessly on my PC (I mention it because I see it listed in the bugzilla).
Thanks in advance,
Ivo
I'm not sure what the etiquette on this site is, but this is the same problem I'm facing. I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 with LXDE.
I also have Intel Integrated Graphics.
Yeah, please try the build listed in Bug #5315. It should fix this issue until we get a formal update released.
