I can confirm this issue. The screen is black after switching to full screen. Switching off post processing does not help.

My System:

Arch Linux
Nvidia 310.19
GNOME 3.6

I am able to achieve full screen by doing the following:

1. Start Dungeon Defenders in Window Mode (it always starts in Window Mode)
2. Switch to tty
3. Switch to X
4. Switch to DD and apply fully screen

I'm able to activate fullscreen disabling post processing. Anyway, while trying increasing the game performance, I noted that the monitor resolution still remain the same (whatever resolution i choose). I don't know if it's related, but I think it's important to adjust the monitor resolution to let the graphics card to do an optimal job.

VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119 [GeForce GT 520] (rev a1)
NVIDIA Driver Version 304.64

Very similar here, although I get an offset part of the screen in the upper left hand quadrant.

Mint 14
NVidia 304.64 via Bumblebee
Cinnamon DE
NVidia 630m

I think this has to do with window managers; I use ion2 and setting native resolution and then giving DD its own virtual workspace (basically removing window borders) works fine, but setting it to actual fullscreen causes the black screen.

I just tried it in openbox now though, and going fullscreen (also with postprocessing enabled) works just fine. Though subsequent game starts don't remember fullscreen so you you have to disable fullscreen, then re-enable it for it to work again. Didn't solve my crashes though sadly =(
