Description jasonbrent 2013-03-11 19:35:28 EDT
Running dundef-linux-03052013 - Same issue occurred with the previous release.

I'm running this under the awesome window manager and have the game configured
to be a floating window based on the WM_CLASS property of "DungeonDefenders-x86".

The majority of the time when the game starts, I am unable to input any key
or mouse strokes into the window.. at least, that is what appears to happen.

The game gets stuck saying "Press any key to continue" OR if I get past that,
it gets stuck at the "Press Start" game window. All graphics and animations
and sounds are functioning, just no keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

Same issue. Pressing keybaord keys, gamepad buttons and clicking the mouse does nothing.

Fedora 18 x64. I usually have to press Ctrl+G and exit the game, force close it, then start it again.

Can you try this build?

http://treefort.icculus.org/dungeondefenders/dundef-linux-hotfix-03152013.tar.bz2

Download, unpack, and overwrite the appropriate files. Let me know if it fixes the issue.

Thanks,

This corrected the issue with keystroke's being captured for "Press any key
to continue". However, the game is still suck for me on "Press Start".

Perhaps there is something I'm missing there.. I'm expecting that mouse clicking
on Press Start, or pressing Enter would active that.. neither do, however.

I've tried it with mouse capture enabled and disabled (CTRL+g).

Over the last couple of days I haven't had to force close the game and restart it a single time because I couldn't get anything to register at "press any key" or "press start".

Thanks for the patch. Works great here.

This is resolved in the steam version (7.48).
