Description c 2004-04-01 21:20:52 EST
in the middle of a lot of action the game qiuts and brings me back to the desktop.
kernel is 2.6.3-4mdk. The kernel runs harder according to Ksysguard, at 100%
and 1.2 avearge load vs. 75% and 1.0 with 2.4.23 debian. CPU core temp is
higher too.
Massive multiplayer on the net it happens quicker than single player, in fact it
happend after the 4:th level with a few more bots.

Sorry if the info is to sparse, don't know if you want a long strace.

can you post the output of ut2004 and your UT2004.log?

should be here: ~/.ut2004/System/UT2004.log

maybe it's the karma bug...

Bug #1413 has updated binaries that fix this crash.

2.4 kernel uses less CPU time online because we cap your framerate in Internet
games by putting the process to sleep, and the 2.4 schedule has a less-fine
scheduling resolution. This is not a bug; upgrade to 2.6 or play on a LAN if it
bothers you.
