Description Erich Wahl 2002-10-29 13:07:21 EST
I am using Gentoo Linux compiled with GCC 3.2. Athlon XP 1800+, 512 MB DDRAM,
GeForce4 Ti 4400 with latest Nvidia drivers (1.0.3123). Updated the original
game with patch 2126. Entered the game and discovered that the down arrow
button is non-functional. I can not go backwards within the game and the down
arrow doesn't work in the configuration menus as well. I can select the down
arrow for use in the controls section, but it doesn't work for scrolling down in
the menus or moving backwards when playing. Rebooting didn't solve the problem.
Uninstalled the game, reinstalled and determined that the down arrow works in
the original build. Patched with 2126 and again the down arrow function did not
work. I can only move backwards in the patched game using the default "s"
button. I verified that the down arrow works in other games by exiting UT 2003
and using it in Quake III Arena. So, the bug is isolated to this patch.
