Description Doug Eubanks 2002-07-18 13:42:21 EDT
Server runs great...but it's not showing up on GameSpy. I am running an Elite
Force Dedicated Server on the same Linux System, it shows up so it isn't a
network problem. I am including my server1.cfg which is being executed.

set sv_hostname "dougemt.no-ip.com"
set sv_allowDownload 1
set sv_floodProtect 1
set sv_pure 1
set sv_gamespy 1
set g_inactiveKick 600
set g_inactiveSpectate 120
set g_teamdamage 0
set net_noipx 1
set net_port 12203
set cl_packetdup 3
seta pmove_fixed 0
set g_teamForceBalance 1
set g_motd "This is a LINUX dedicated server, it is a beta, enjoy"
set sv_maxclients 8
seta sv_master1 "master0.gamespy.com"
seta sv_master2 "master.gamespy.com"
set dedicated 2
set g_gametype 2
set sv_maxclients 8
set ui_console 1
set rconpassword basic
set sv_gamespy 1
map dm/mohdm2

Are you setting net_ip on the command line? Remove that and net_port and see if
it starts showing up on GameSpy.

Also remove sv_master* ... I think this needs to go through EA's default
servers to show up in the in-game browser.

Let me know.

Not sure this is additional info but we started running the beta yesterday and
have noticed the same server showing in All Seeing Eye and HLSW on 2 ports.

80.253.111.154:12300 Linux MOHAA Server | www.clan-servers.biz

The 12300 gives additional information on Frags and Deaths aswell as players
and ping.

Closing out old bugzilla entries that have probably been irrelevant for a long time.
