Description Kyle Hufford 2002-09-15 02:15:46 EDT
I am unable to get my linux dedicated server to refresh correctly in gamespy,
it's not just me, many people have tried it. You can connect to the server
manually and it works fine but doesn't list correctly. Here is some text that
comes up while running the server:

There is also a screenshot of gamespy showing the problem here:

I have tried reinstalling the game on my windows pc twice and just zipped up
the contents of the "main" dir and put them on the server, everything runs
fine, I have dedicated set to "2" and I have sv_gamespy set to "1". The
machine is FreeBSD 4.4-RELEASE and is running linux_base-7.1_2.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Is net_ip being set somewhere? Don't set it and see if it helps.

Yes, net_ip was being set. I have multiple ips bound to the interface, however
I turned it off just now and it is loading on the main IP but the same issue
occurs.
