Description Koen Maes 2003-02-15 06:46:52 EST
When I try to connect to a password protected server, the game doesn't start, it
keeps displaying the loading... [mapname] screen (blue background).
There have been several issues similar to this bug, but they were due to spaces
in the player's name which caused an incomplete line in the server's file or
other simple things that were done wrong. This isn't the case at all here, I
got the issue under a total stable environment (gentoo 1.4) and an environment
that's a little more unstable (but I haven't had any problem with it) (gentoo
1.4 but with the testing packages). I'm sure that i can connect to normal
servers (without a password) and unreal tournament (1) works perfectly too (even
pass-protected servers). The issue isn't due to any upgrade because it's been
repeatable both without any updates installed and with all updates installed. I
re-installed UT2003 several times to make sure that my installation wasn't the
problem.
