First log

I'm running the test-06032012 build and it's much, much more stable. :)

I've been getting intermittent screen blackouts when changing areas. It did not load after going away and coming back later, so I've attached a log containing the console output from just before I dropped to terminal and killed the process. It did not appear to respond to SIGTERM, and SIGKILL resulted in garbage spewed to the console, which is quite possibly the fault of my Catalyst 12.4 drivers.

What I did before the black screen:
-Entered the main lodge from the back door.
-Went over to the TV and changed the channel, IIRC until it looped back to the first one. Somewhere in either this process or walking over the beanbags a sound effect started looping incessantly, so I pulled up the menu by pressing escape, and it stopped. I resumed by hitting escape again.
-Talked to the band playing on the stage.
-Exited via the back door.

Trying to do this again did not reproduce the black screen.

Second log

Console output from just before a black screen.

What I did before: (in the Recreation Area)
-Recited Coach's speech until the first looped line.
-Left for the main campgrounds.

When I tried this again I was not able to reproduce the black screen.

I can confirm this problem, that the levels aren't loading sometimes and you end up with a black screen when changing areas.

The last message is always:
======================
Memory pre level unload
======================
======================

I'm on the test-06032012 build and I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 with Catalyst 12.04

White screen log

It may be worth noting that this can also take the form of a hang on a white screen where the screen transitions to white when changing areas.

I left it alone for a while and it seems to have made progress after "Memory pre level unload" unlike the others, though it still hadn't moved on from the white screen.

I can also confirm this bug. It started to happen now and thenafter I installed the test-06032012 build.

Now I went to the sector "GPC & Wilderness" and every time I try to leave it towards another sector I get a persistent black screen with the same log as Steve.

I'm running Kubuntu 12.04 with AMD 5770 using Catalyst 12.4

Consistently? Could you attach your save to see if others can reproduce it on their own setups?

I have the same graphics card.

Hm ok sorry guys seems i wrote my last comment a bit overhasty.

When I went back in the game to check wether it was the correct savegame it suddenly worked and I was able to leave the sector.

Didn't reboot the last time just killed the game and retried it 5 or 6 times.
I will keep trying maybe I can get in a similar situation when playing for a while, but the savegame itself doesn't seem to have a problem.
