linux mandrake 9.0rc2 on dell inspiron 8100 (geforce2go 32mb)

the game crashed while displaing the internet servers list with the following
message:

Connection established.
Resolved ut2003master1.epicgames.com -> 207.135.145.2
gethostbyname failed (TRY_AGAIN)

don't know if the demo is build 1077, i've just downloaded it today (15/9)
