The mouse does not let me move it around freely after I go to an option in the
menu, in game I cannot look behind me, and when I exit the game it does the same
in the menu. It is fine when I initially start the game but then gets borked.

I am running slackware 8.1 with a Geforce 2 MX 512 mb of ram amd XP 2200

ps/2 mouse aswell.
