Description Marc Lavergne 2003-08-24 21:07:08 EDT
This is hard to describe but left and right mouse movement blocks within a
particular field of vision. More specficially, if looking down on the soldier,
only ~90 degrees of the solider's field of view is accessible. This makes left
or right movement via the mouse virutally impossible since mobility is limited
to within that 90 degree view. Note that left and right movement is still
possible using keys. This same behavior appears in the opening menu where the
mouse is constrained to a rectangular area smaller than the screen resolution
suggests. It's possible to "break out" of the area using rapid successive left
to right movements. There is an easy work around: remove the in_mousegrab line
in ~/.mohaa/main/configs/unnamedsoldier.cfg, however, this needs to be done
everytime a change to the options is made.

Forgot this: [Config: SuSE 8.2, Linux 2.4.21, XFree86 4.3.0, nVIDIA GF3 Ti200]

The setting does not come back "everytime" a change is made, I'm not certain
what causes it to reset itself.

You cant change anything that needs a vid restart to take effect really, because
then the mouse grab does not work. I set the option manually before I play. I
dont really care though, as long as I can play. He is aware of this bug BTW.
